But the twangy “You Should Be Sad” - from this year’s Manic - sees the pop star take the country road alone to deliver this searing kiss-off to an ex, with a Shania- and Carrie-quoting video for extra emphasis. Halsey’s relationship with country music has shown itself more and more over the years, from her 2019 CMA performance with Lady Antebellum to this year’s collaboration with Kelsea Ballerini.
